Rachana Residence, located in Mysore, is an elegantly planned private home built on a 50×80 site, designed to seamlessly blend openness, nature, and contemporary luxury. Thoughtful spatial planning defines the residence, with an open kitchen layout that flows into a lush indoor garden—creating a serene visual and experiential core for the home.
The interiors are articulated through a sophisticated palette of wood, grey tones, and marble finishes, enhanced by a dramatic double-height volume that amplifies light and spatial continuity. One of the defining architectural features of the residence is the staircase, crafted with rich wooden detailing and sleek glass balustrades, serving as both a functional element and a sculptural centerpiece.
Designed to reflect the lifestyle of the homeowners, Rachana and her children envisioned a relaxed cafeteria-style space integrated with open areas, encouraging informal gatherings and everyday leisure. The residence further extends upward into a refined penthouse and an expansive open terrace—spaces curated for privacy, relaxation, and hosting.
